For comments, use this markup: !this is a spoiler! I just have this small, very small hope that Teikoku will win this game just to stop this unnecesary plot armor that Raimon has right now. They are just beating the meat out of every other team since episode 3. If they lose to Teikoku now, maybe we can see more training episodes, giving us an explanation on why they are so damn powerful.
Also, by doing that they make matches more hype because having one match after the other make the games a bit boring, but with a few training episodes here and there we can have a good pace management and make the series more enjoyable. I get you on the pace management but I feel as if there are a lot of teams this time. Lots of very important teams, actually. This series really focuses on the three protagonists, but there's also a lot of emphasis on members of the old Raimon all scattered about, which makes virtually every match interesting. Combine that with at least 3 new protagonist teams and you've got a superpowered series. Characters from IE2 are important (Fudou, Fubuki, Kiyama), new ones are introduced, etc. We need to move fast to explain not only how Asuto interacts with all of them, but Haizaki and Nosaka as well.
What I personally hope is to see more matches between non-Raimon teams in game, or at least some kind of randomized standing system in the game. Hakuren, Eisei, Tonegawa, Outei, Seishou, Zeus, and even Kidokawa all seem like strong teams that can each contend for the top; it'd be nice to see something random like that taken from a game like FIFA.
Im disappointed too. And i don't think Teikoku will appear after this match. They already lost to Seishou (i know, in the training match, but there's no purpose for the story to play another one), the other protagonists, and Outei Tsukonomiya is in other group, so they won't have a match. I just would love to see some non-protagonists matches, like: Kidokawa vs Teikoku Hakuren vs Tonegawa Tousen Genei Gakuen vs Zeus etc, etc. I would love to see some storylines regarding all these teams. But no, were stuck with Tenma v2 and his generic, plain, personality-less team.
Plot Summary: Inazuma Eleven Ares will be set in a parallel world, taking place after the events of the first game, and develop the story from the perspectives of three protagonists—Ryouhei Haizaki, Asuto Inamori, and Yuuma Nosaka. The story revolves around a group of boys living on an island who love to play soccer. Their soccer club is suddenly abolished, and the only way they can regain it is to win the Football Frontier. Protagonist Asuto Inamori and company leave the island for Tokyo to attend Raimon Junior High School and take on the Football Frontier. But their first match is against the number one-ranked Seishou Gakuen.
