Well technically it is possible to install 32-bit software on a computer that uses a 64-bit OS. I know it because I've done it on two computers. I have AutoCAD 2004 (32-bit) running on one computer that runs Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I have AutoCAD 2007 running on another computer that has Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit as the OS. You might want to look into a program called Longbow. BTW.if you have a 64-bit OS try taking a look at your folders using Windows Explorer. Do you see a folder named Programs (x86)?
